About the position
For our client in Stockholm we are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in implementing Document Management systems and creating testcases.
Start Date: 02/03/2025
End Date: 05/31/2027
Location: Solna (most of the time)
Onsite or offsite: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. The consultant may be required to be onsite more frequently during onboarding.
Note: When we provide a candidate, we have to do a security interview.
Background and Purpose:
The project focuses on migrating a current document management system to a more modern platform due to the imminent end of support for the current client platform in Q1 2027. The new system, InLane, is expected to go live in February 2027, with the project running from December 2024 through Q2 2027.
Prerequisites:
As the realization phase of the project begins, there is a need to strengthen the team in areas like requirements management, testing, test management, and user support. The hired resource will be expected to work onsite at the client's location in Arenastaden, Solna, with possible travel to various facilities. The resource will also undergo vetting procedures as required.
Assignment Scope:
The role involves working within the project on requirements management, testing, and user documentation creation. This is a full-time assignment (100%) over approximately 27 months, starting in the winter/spring of 2025.
Main Tasks:
- Documenting and producing requirements for the InLane system with relevant stakeholders.
 - Collaborating with developers and project team members to ensure that requirements are feasible and cost-effective.
 - Ensuring that requirements are of sufficient quality to enable the implementation phase.
 - Participating in functional, regression, and system testing, including test case creation, verification, and logging results.
 - Attending daily stand-up meetings with the project team.
 - Taking part in acceptance testing with relevant stakeholders.
 - Participating in sprint planning sessions.
 - Producing user documentation, training materials, and potentially conducting training sessions for users.
 - Collaborating with other business analysts, developers, and testers to achieve project goals.
 
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a business analyst for IT systems.
 - Strong background in software testing and quality verification.
 - Experience in creating and managing test cases and test plans.
 - Meticulous attention to detail with a genuine interest in requirements and quality assurance.
 - Good understanding of software development processes
 - Ability to work independently and take initiative to meet deadlines
 - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
 - Proficiency in Swedish (both written and spoken), as the role involves creating user documentation and training materials.
 - Experience with document management systems is a plus.
 - Familiarity with agile methodologies (SCRUM) is advantageous.
 - Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps or similar for requirements management, test cases, and issue tracking is desirable.
 - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
